As most national parks wind down their busy vacation seasons, several in-park lodges are offering reduced rates and packages. “Accommodations in national parks are already good deals, and with peak season behind us, they get even better,” said Judi Lages, vice president of sales and marketing for Xanterra Parks & Resorts. Xanterra operates lodges, restaurants, gift shops and activities in those and many other U.S. national parks and resorts.
There are still plenty of tickets available for the Grand Canyon Railway’s presentation of The Polar Express™ this November through January.
Grand Canyon Railway will host 24 Arizona charities aboard the 6:30 and 8 p.m. Nov. 8 runs of The Polar Express™. In 2006, 7 different not-for-profit organizations traveled aboard The Polar Express Charity Train.
