This full-time position is for an assistant to the Executive Housekeeper, at our 297-room hotel. Candidates must have an understanding of all aspects of housekeeping operations, including managing, staffing, training, purchasing, and financial oversight. Great communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.
This full time position is responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel and public areas (lobby, vending machines, etc.), including but not limited to: restocking supplies, transporting laundry carts, and lifting items weighing up to 60 lbs. Reports to the PM General Foreman and is responsible for cleaning the passenger cars interior and exterior. The individual must be safety conscious and capable of leading the cleaning crew daily. Reports to the lead car cleaner. This position provides cleaning services to the passenger car fleet. Job requirements include but are not limited to cleaning interior and exterior of passenger car including the bathrooms. Position requires climbing, reaching above head, stooping and bending.
Reports to the PM General Foreman and is responsible for covering for the PM General Foreman. Duties include switching the train(s) consist (s) for the next day and the locomotive shop. The PM Crew is responsible for servicing, inspecting and light repairs on cars and locomotives. Car cleaning is a daily responsibility. This position requires operating rules qualification and be certified as a locomotive engineer. Individual must be safety conscious, capable of leading workgroups, planning, scheduling, adhering to deadlines and have good written and verbal communication skills. Driver’s license required. Work schedule includes holidays and weekends.
Must meet physical performance requirements for the position. Work as a Brakeman and if qualified as a Conductor, may work in that capacity also. Ability to work flexible schedule.
Must be friendly and outgoing and able to give good customer service. Position requires a minimum of 10 hours per day with days varying and includes working weekends and Holidays. Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds and be able to work in a kitchen environment handling food and cleaning. Duties include stocking the Café Car, prepare/cook microwavable food, collect money, clean and restock merchandise every night.
Ability to supervise Passenger Service Attendants including but not limited to training of employees, assigning their hours of work directing their work; maintaining their level of performance records for use in supervision; appraising their productivity and efficiency for the purposes of completing performance evaluations, recommending promotions or other changes in status; handling their complaints and grievances and disciplining them when necessary, planning the work; determining the techniques to be used, etc. Daily shuttle is provided from Flagstaff and Ashfork.

This would be a weekend position only with on-call work to fill in occasionally during the week. This person is responsible for daily stock ordering, and requisitions for designated delivery schedule of the train. Check in commissary merchandise and supplies, put into stock with ongoing rotation of goods. Inform Manager/Supervisor or vendor as appropriate of items with visible damage, out of code dates or that may be unacceptable to receive. Return stock to vendor as required and assist with scheduled inventories. Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and loading dock areas.
Must have the ability to maintain DC & AC high and low voltage electrical systems on railroad equipment. Minimum of 5 years experience with knowledge in the DC & AC fields; must be able to troubleshoot and must be able to read wiring schematics. Must have an EPA refrigerant Certificate. Technician must be able to discuss basic refrigerant cycle and the state of the refrigerant in each part of the system. Must be able to system components and controls. Should be able to explain the use of common tools and measurement instruments used in the HVAC industry. This position is available in our Railroad Operations Department. Applicant must have valid driver’s license and attend a rules class prior to fieldwork. The position is outdoors and requires manual labor.
Duties include, but are not limited to: maintenance and cleaning of the company facilities. Desired applicants will be working with ladders and must be able to carry supplies and parts up to fifty pounds. Lock and key experience is preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Must have 3-5 years experience in the mechanical field, welding experience a plus. A person with general maintenance experience would possess the necessary skills for entry level in this position.
